The sugar-free part..... OH. MY. GOODNESS. So very very hard but so worth it.
Sooooooo as I mentioned earlier on my Facebook page, I had another appointment at the Naturapath today to go over my test results to see whether conceiving & carrying a baby to term is viable for me.
The goods news straight up..... YES!! OMGOSH, I was so nervous. Woooohoooooo!!!
So in a nutshell, my blood work was good. She said she can see why the doctors just said keep trying after 3 miscarriages.
My thyroid needs some work.... or actually probably less work. I need to change the balance of my day so I can get the bulk of my work done in the morning when my cortisol levels are high & then rest in the afternoons (which oddly enough also includes light excercise).
Since I've been off sugar, off gluten & restricted to one cup of tea a day, I've been keeping a food diary. She said my diet looks good. Just need to cut out meat at lunchtime & replace with stuff lie egg salad. Only eat raw nuts, not cooked... bye bye yummy roasted nut mix. Oh & no juice... even sugar free because there's still too much sugar. And add a protein powder to my morning smoothie.
Yay!!!!!!!!!!
It's pretty scary sharing all this. I'm a bit of a perfectionist & sometimes, even though you know it's not your fault, having multiple miscarriages can leave the feeling of failure rattling around your brain. Most of the time you're rationable about it but it's emotional and overwhelming and frustrating and often heartbreaking but that little bit of faith you hold inside is enough make all the hard bits manageable.
